Clintwood loses former RB and I lose a good friend....

Just heard that Michael Johnson, a 95 graduate of CHS and fomer Wave football player, was killed and died at work. I know LBU is on here and the three of us were team mates and good friends. You couldn't meet a better person than Michael and he'll be missed by many. I hadn't seen or spoken to Michael in a few years so the rest of you take this as a reminder to keep your friends and loved ones close because you don't know how long they'll be around. We love and will miss you Michael.

I worked with him years ago. good guy. We acutally went to he KISS "reunion" concert over Knoxville when that all was just starting. R.I.P.

My good friend and co-worker Elliot Wells was telling me about this last night. He got the word right before work last night and it hit him hard. Prayers going out to his loved ones and friends

Services are tommorow evening and the funeral is Wednesday. Mullins Funeral Home in Clintwood is handling everything.

Michael was a really good guy. Always had a smile on his face, and you never heard him say a bad word about anybody. Saw him a few weeks back at a game, but didn't get to speak too much. Wish I had taken the time now to talk a little more. Such a sad thing.
